If I wish to become a Train Driver do you recommend Train Driving Certificates or other similar qualifications/courses?

Any courses or qualifications that you may wish to take, would be entirely up to you. Unless you are already an experienced qualified train driver then you would be required to apply for a trainee role, for which all candidates would be treated the same. Having completed a course or qualification may support you in completing any of the recruitment stages you're invited to partake in, however your application would not be given any preferential or favourable treatment and all applications would be judged on performance.
